i'm new to dvd creator. now i'm using super dvd creator to create a dvd. i want to put as much episode as possible into the dvd, but the program seem to be only allowing 5 episode per disc. other, i can't seem to figure out how to. any help? or any other program that i can use to create dvd? :D

  2. i was like u a few days ago after trying out the dvd creator which only allowed 5 so i looked around and found convertxtodvd 3 to be good because it lets me fit 10 episodes into one 4 gig dvd, it allows for more but quality would probably suck. If you want to be on the safe side 8 episodes is not bad. Make sure u choose the right option which is "target size - dvd-5 4300 mb"

if u have a dvdrw or have dvdrs to spare u could play around with it to see how many episodes it could fit onto a disk without looking ugly, just note it may look ugly on your computer but usually when you stick it in the tv it comes out looking so much better. I havn't tried fitting 12 episodes onto a dvd because im low on discs but let me know how many u manage to put in that can retain viewable quality. :punk:

Just curious, besides the program suggested by hadouken, ie convertxtodvd, is there any alternative programs that will do the same (ie convert many hours of videos into 1 dvd)? I'd like to try out a few. :) Thanks in advance.

  5. there probably are a few more softwares out there that does the same but i think the one mention is the best to use..... I don't record anymore episodes onto DVDs only movies so i only use a converter that seems to only take one avi at a time...

Convertxtodvd is the best program I have used, 10 eps is the max you can put on a dvd, anything more is vcd quality.

TMPGenc DVD Author will do the same. I routinely put 10 (40 minute) episodes on 1 disc. Sometimes you will need to use DVDshrink to make it fit but will lose a little quality. Or if it is Dual languare and you dont need one, use DVDShrink to get rid of the second sound track and save the GB's for video.
