Well for my 22" LCD screen when I use VGA (DVI-Sub cable) there's no problem at all but when I start using a DVI-D cable first the screen couldn't achieve the max resolution, but that's fixed with a driver update. But there is one problem that still persists, like at the boot screen, the monitor doesn't display anything or the whole boot screen become super distorted, but when windows xp loads up with the "welcome" everything is fine. I read on some sites that it is because the monitor can't display the low res of the boot screen in digital mode and it can't be fixed but do you guys know if it can be fixed? like is there something wrong with the bios or something and oh yea my graphics card is a Radeon 9200 AGP. thanks.
i think your graphic card cant cope with the second screen. 64 mb is not much for dualscreen. but im not sure
^i'm not using a dual screen configuration, just saying my monitor has dual outputs, both vga and dvi and when i use the vga output there was no problem but when i use the dvi port, the boot screen blanked out... yea i think it's most likely the fault of the graphics card, but trying to fix it...if it's not fixable then gotta go back to vga or stick with it lol...
here are some things people have been saying, but i suggest NOT trying the second one unless your comfortable messing around with the bios
I might try one of those methods hopefully it'll work, and yea i don't want to fuck up my comp by messing with the bios now either cause i didn't back up anything, thanks dude.
