Eason Chan (陳奕迅)'s run of 15 shows for his Moving On Stage 1 concerts drew to a close yesterday evening and the guests in the audience for the final night included his wife Hilary Tsui (徐濠縈), TVB executive Stephen Chan (陳志雲), Denise Ho (何韻詩) and her parents, Vincent Kok (谷德昭), Joe Koo (谷祖琳), Wyman Wong (黃偉文), Deborah Lee (狄波拉) and her husband.

During the performance of "Ultraman Tiga" <超人迪加> during the encore, Eason's good friends Miriam Yeung (楊千嬅), Wilfred Lau (劉浩龍), Denise and Edmond Leung (梁漢文) joined him on the stage and the atmosphere stepped up a level. As the show drew to a close, Eason became quite emotional during his performance of "Bicycle" <單車> and the show was extended until 12:05 am before it finally ended to the sounds of "Today Next Year" <明年今日>.

During the celebration party after the show, Eason revealed that due to the late ending of the show, the production company had been fined a six-figure sum by the venue. He admitted that this was the best show because there was so much extra material in the show and half-way through the show, he had joked with the audience that they should take the next day off work because he was having so much fun.

Eason said that this was the first time that he had performed a concert for two weeks running, but he still felt it was not enough. He added that to put on a show that was themed on dance was a new experience for him and to tie in with the mainland market, he will also be increasing the Mandarin content in future shows. Now that the concerts are finished, he will be spending some time with his family, but to avoid getting too comfortable, he will still be taking part in a few functions over the next few days.
