Tuesday October 31, 2006 China Both Andy Lau and Stefanie Sun won 5 awards each to become the biggest winner of the night at the 6th Global Chinese Music Awards, Eason Chan whom won one award less than Andy had issued a challenge to Andy, exclaiming that he would win the Asia Pacific Most Popular Male Singer from him! During the post-ceremony dinner, Andy said: "During the ceremony when we were seated, I told Eason that singers need to do something for the Chinese music industry." Eason then said: "Andy is the target of the new singers, he must be bored of winning the Asia Pacific Most Popular Male Singer award, as the new batch of singers, we must work hard!"
