Half a year up, Miriam Yeung and Priscilla Chan need to step aside for Eason Chan, Go East/Metro Radio "feud" over?

At the end of last year after the Metro Radio Hit Music Awards, Go East was [rumored to be] unhappy with Eason Chan having won less awards than Leo Ku; therefore, publicly stating that Eason will not be attending any functions held by Metro Radio for half a year. Eason appeared at the 7th Chinese Music Awards yesterday, which was co-organized by Metro Radio, which coincidentially was the end of the half a year "feud".

To show their sincerity, Metro Radio not only awarded Eason with "Artist of the Year" and "Best Cantonese Male Singer", they also gave up on fellow two-award winner Miriam Yeung and veteran Priscilla Chan to have Eason as their special guest performer after the award ceremony. Eason also showed his sincerity, waiting a full 2 hours before accepting his awards at 1 am in the morning. Despite the rain and long wait Eason showed up early, stayed late and smiled throughout.

When Eason was asked how he feels now that the "feud" is over, he gave a puzzled look as if he didn't know what they were talking about. He then replied, "It doesn't matter, I leave it up to the company (Go East), if there's music I will sing."

A representative of Go East was also asked regarding the "feud" being over, he says, "Reporters should not be so sensitive, Eason was invited to this event by (co-organizer) Southern Metropolitan News." The representative was then asked if Eason would have attended the award ceremony if Metro Radio invited him, he responds, "I will not answer any 'if' questions."
