most of it is safe, just read the description that they give you really carefully plus theres like a policy that if they cheat you, they will track down the user for you and pretty much sue them or something so theres not much to worry about when it comes to buying stuff on ebay
if u're not sure wat u're doin and have second thoughts don't buy from internet...cause ebay is always a risk
its safe if the person's rating is high but best to look carefully b4 buying it+ advance warning there is pure fake stuff being sold at that site And i been scammed once cos i end up having some fake mem card from them like
its pretty safe, if you pay by paypal. Just dont do money transfer like western union. but there are heaps and heaps of fake stuff
1. Its pretty safe, unless you have keyloggers on your computer LOL. 2. Its cheap good stuff, however you can't see for your self what it looks like and feels like etc.... i give ebay a 7/10.
Regarding the "fake" stufF: I will never understand those who go on eBay to buy brand name purses, clothes, accessories, etc. etc. What are you trying to do, buy expensive brands for a fraction of the price? All I gotta say is, stay away from fashion items -- there's tons of shit that can go wrong. And read everything carefully. For example, you don't want to be like the victims that paid $1000 for an XBOX box. It's no scam or whatever, the listing clearly lists that they are selling the BOX, but it's meant to trick those that don't read carefully. Consult your friends about particular items: international editioned books, car parts, etc. Ask them about their experiences with buying certain items from eBay and see what they say. Be skeptical when buying stuff on eBay: check out the users rating and reviews, google/research the item.
well i recently got a pair of shoes from ebay and its not fake =D but you really have to read the description
even when ratings are high it cud still be fake cuz i brought a t shirt recently and it was fake, took a long time to get my money back... and my friends brought somethink the once and it was not as described, he filed a compliant to ebay and ebay couldnt get a refund back for my friend as the seller cancelled all of his accounts. so all of the promises ebay give about buying from a trusted seller is bull**** sometimes.
I think it is safe in some stuff depends what u buying and read everything on the selling thread before buying + the seller's rating.
I found it better at first to just watch some of the items i wanted to purchase, to get the common sale amount and to see if bad feedback is given to the seller. I have purchased loads of stuff on the site and have been lucky in some cases but when it comes to memory cards or flash drives i have always received fake goods that run extremely slow compared to the real ones
I've used ebay for sometime and there are definitely lots of fake stuff, you should always look at the negative feedbacks and see whats wrong with them and buy from people wit ha high feedback score, also google whatever your buying to see if there are any fakes circling around
I used ebay many many years ago and had no problems with it at all. BUT i know someone who loves to collect miniature perfume and has been buying for quite some time, and often buys from ebay with no problem at all, she was buying a lot of them which all the sellers were from England, ok, won the auction and all of the items were sent to me, so i can package them all together and some stuff in one little box and send them off to her to Hong Kong. however there was one seller ~~ who had pictures of some miniature perfume, fair enough ~~ won the auction and the items got sent to me and i recieved it. opened the package only to find that they were not miniature perfume but little coloured beads stuck together and passed it off as miniature perfume!!!! and a little message saying thanks for buying the miniature perfume. i couldnt contain my laughter when I saw it in the mail. contacted the friend in Hong Kong and she was not pleased, but also found it amusing too so yeah. be careful of fakes!!! i cant remember if the seller had positive feedbacks or not though, was quite some time ago. luckily, she got her refund back and it was all good in the end ^^
I've had no problems buying from ebay so far, but u gota read descriptions and feedbacks carefully to make sure wat u are buying is wat u want!
I trust ebay most of the time. But yeah, it's safer if you trust people with alot of feedback (50+) with at least 98% positive.
in regard to Ebay ~~ just uploaded 98 items onto ebay :( and it took forever to list them....taking photos, writing descriptions
