Edison Chen has been accepting interviews, talking about his business in Shanghai. But the media's focus is still on when he will make his comeback. He said he will retire from the industry indefinitely in early 2008. Then he said "to retire indefinitely can mean 5 minutes." During an interview lately, he expressed will spend 70% of time on business, and the rest on working behind the scene. He also said he would film as long as it is a good script. He finally got mad when he was questioned the same thing repeatedly. He was black-faced and requested the media don't ask anymore questions similar to this topic. Edison then requested reporters to delete clips related to his comeback and start the interview over again with a new question. [163 & Mingpao]
Me thinks that if you embrace the media's bombarding of these questions about his come backs (whatever they may be) in an intelligent manner and not act like a bitch about it they might get off his back. He could play their game to get his fame back.
how much is edison's words worth? he shouldn't have said he would not make a comeback when it was clear that he would, what else can he do for living other than film?
