Edison Chen, who announced that he was exiting the entertainment industry due to the nude photo scandal, is making his comeback in Taiwan. The 2 endorsements he accepted for September has broadcasted, and he’s even stepped on the cover of 2 magazines. He also said that he wishes to collaborate with Jay Chou & Jolin Tsai. When Edison came to Taiwan during July to film a Levi’s ad, he became the media’s focus. Earlier, the ad was broadcasted, and the theme was ‘Persevere, never give up’; it seemed to convey Edison’s voice. This is also his first official endorsement contract since his announcement of exiting the entertainment industry. The interesting thing is that the other female lead in the scandal, Gillian Chung has just renewed her contract with TOUGH, and the theme is ‘Never give up, never compromise’. He doesn't really have any talent. Why is he still trying? His music is bland. His acting is poor. The only thing good that came out of him was probably the CLOT clothing lines and collaborations if you're into streetwear.

Perfectly normal in the Asian showbiz apparently. Remember Leslie Cheung or Anita Mui or even Dodo Cheng or Sam Hui .. they announced retirement once upon a time yet popped up again at a later time .. the only difference here is Edison made the announcement of comeback in less than a year after the exit ... I guess it's forgivable since it's was more of a force to step out and not an option for him back then. Honestly though, I don't think Edison Chen or Jay Chou look that great. For oversea artist like Edison, he can't even compare to Daniel Wu (not a fan of him either).
Didn't he already had some nude pictures with Jolin Tsai? hhmm ... going back for round 2? I hope he'll be producer too. I would love to see the production of HK porn starring himself, Gillian Chung, Cecilia Cheung, and throw in a few more new faces.
