Would you send your children back to China to get an education?

I am not sure about that. Unless your are expecting your kid to get into the "top ranked" schools I wouldn't bother. The regular schools are too dangerous, too many kids getting kicked into gangs and triad business.

I know I'd keep my kids in Europe, just for their sake ... not like my gf is going to let go of the kids anyways hahaha.

It's all up to them, but I would prefer somewhere in the states, you just feel closer and safer, but that may not be true, it's just a false sense of security. We know some of the shits that happen in colleges in the states, maybe even more dangerous.

Only some European countries that I think would be great, sweden, finland, switcherland, denmark, like those regions. Japan seem like a good place.

But I also heard some even more crazy stuff happening over at some european nations. It's pretty much safe to say, it can be dangerous anywhere so you can't really worry about it too much.

Sweden, Finland, Denmark are awesome. I wouldn't send my kids to Swiss tough, there are quite some racists over there. England is a good choice too and of course my laid back Netherlands

All my kids were born and raised in the US, so there's really not any "back to China" for them. Other than the ethnic and cultural trappings or attachments, my kids are banana boys (ie. yellow outside, white inside), that is, they're typical white kids wearing a Chinese suit; they're too Americanized. They neither read nor write in Chinese, and only barely manage restaurant level Cantonese. Other than that, they know only enough Chinese history to fit onto a one double spaced page (and totally meaningless shit like Kung Fu comes from China and I'm a kid so you have to give me lucky money on Chinese New Year...)

    That's just from my end.

On the other end, is cut throat competition, people who have trained for that education system like imperial testing candidates in Qing times, disdainful perception of foreign born Chinese as faux or less than legitimate Chinese (especially those that can't speak Chinese well), and poorly constructed school buildings which will collapse in an earthquake despite government certification that no one is to blame.

    That's from the China end.

So, no... My kids are staying right where they are. They can learn to be dummies a lot easier right here in the US. -smart

Education in China is distinctively better than North America's because they have a more concrete education system, whereas, there are less strict rules in other places. Successful students who come from China are extremely smart, despite the fact that they do not necessarily represent the whole China population of students.

:wtf: Lets not and say we did... all the late night hw  all the must sitting up straight during class... and not to mention the thousends of $$ parents working their ass off trying to save up here and there just to put the kids through school. I remember my grandma would cut the soul from the bottom of her shoes so she can wear it for another year or 2... Kids gets sick a lot too, north america now have the "best shiety health care system" in the world.
And besides, now most of the university do offer courses from languages to cultures to everyone can choose from. So why would I settle for just "choices" when I can choose between "good choices"?

I would probably send my kids to Singapore schools. They got a very good system, better than HK's. Schools in HK and US have drug problems. Lots kids in HK schools as young as 12 are into Es and Ks, destrying many youngsters future and lives. People who are educated under the Singapore system usually have better upbrings, morals and ethics.

No wonder Jet Li chose Singapore for his kids over USA, HK, and etc.
