    Which would you prefer?

If elaborate is what you want then describe how you'd want it done.

If simple explain why you wouldn't want an elaborate one, and how simple is simple.

This isn't just for the girls, us guys can also tell of how we would propose.

cool i'm the first one to post=)
anyways i dont reli know what proposal i'd like but i suppose for now a simple one..because its the thought and the message that counts..and i'm not reli bothered about the whole elaborate works of proposal so thats my opinion for now..

Maybe it will change when i get a bit older :)

i'm sure that'll change one day too. but there's gotta be a fantasy behind it, like you want him to do it infront of the whole world at a World Cup or Olympics or somethin..

Serving the ring in a champagne glass sounds nice, albeit impractical @_@b wet and/or sticky ring is not the most pleasant thing... And ring in food is just retarded...

Just give me the ring and it's all good :p

yea the champagne glass one sounds a bit on the dangerous side... what if your gal chokes on it......... i wouldn't know what to say after that....and the food one, if she bites it and loses her tooth..... you can see where i'm going with this

@THY: Yeah, that's what I meant too... Not only are you risking HER life with the stunt, you may also lose your ice in the restaurant @_@bbb

    Pre-nup?

Mine's an elaborate one.. but I cannot list it down here can I?? Or it would make it so simpler for the guy(s) already...

Simple. Elaborate as in spending alot of money?? Not necessary and lol I dont want him getting himself in debt for just a proposal, when I could end up saying no anyway..

You could always prepare flash cards... or flash poster boards if they don't have 10/20 vision

    Pre-nup = Prenuptial agreement.

Flash poster-boards?! Then you will be dumping garbage in mid air!!! Polluting the world @_@b

It's the price we pay for a mid air proposal. Do you think driving to a fancy location to propose doesn't pollute? -sorc

Ideally for me, travel to some exotic place, then propose in some romantic settings like by the seaside, or in a rustic town.

Exotic??? Amazonian rainforest comes to mind LOL

But really, seaside is a nice option. Girls usually don't have anything against the beach :p But rustic town... it depends @_@b

An elaborate one of course. Women like to be able to show off to their friends and one up each other on how their beau proposed to them for bragging rights.

Only if you make a significant amount of money or inherit a fortune to justify one. Otherwise the girl will just laugh at you lol.

Guys don't mind spending that much money on a woman they truely love and want to marry. I spent about $5000 on my proposal.....

How about a surprise cruise to the island of St. John in Burmuda and proposing in front of the setting sun on the beach with a backdrop of the colorful colonial styled buildings lining the waterfront?
