Elanne was forced to go through the experience of hell, not because of death or a illness but fate had arranged her to be accused and carry the role of the third party vixen (Accused of having affair with her boss). From a jade girl to a vixen this rumour had ruined her image. Even affecting her normal daily activities. she was afraid of being scolded by people calling her a bad person which constantly made her cry.

Today, Elanne has returned from hell and the past experience has made her have dry tears. She has learned to be stronger and coming out to defend herself like Cecilia Cheung. She bravely said "Actually if you have been reading the reports, they (Boss and his wife) were having problems since 3 years ago due to financial matters. Why would it be anything to do with me if it was 3 years ago. But I am one of the frontline artistes in the company therefore some people would do things to attack me. Let's just say if there are attackers then they will have a target."

Would Elanne want to experience falling in hell again? To be honest she is already prepared if things backfire. But she really hopes to have a boyfriend to be there to give her a shoulder to lie on.

Grateful for her Mother's support

(Have you completely forgotten about the negative news reports? "forgetten? Certainly not. I think that I will always remember 30th September 2008." That day was Elanne's 21st birthday. It should have been a happy time for Elanne and spent with friends, But instead she spent it with a group of paparazzi's. They did not celebrate with her but rather waited to capture her tears instead. "When I recall the incident. I felt like I was in hell. That day I was also shooting a death scene for the movie "Basic Love". Do you know what my birthday wish was? I just wanted to have a normal birthday. But when I returned home there was another group of paparazzi's waiting outside my home."

Despite Elanne being disturbed by the paparazzi's, fortunately she still has her mother's endless support. She said "Thankfully my mother and my friends helped me through such a rough time. When I got home I already saw a pink balloons, one had the words "Happy Birthday precious daughter, love Mom" written on it. When I saw the whole house full of pink balloons and the birthday cake. I couldn't help but cry, then everyone else started crying. The atmosphere was very emotional."

After this experience, Elanne felt like she had grown 10 years older. She has seen the world become dull and ugly. Although her friends and family phoned her everyday to comfort her. She also had people who she thought were friends turn against her. "Before the incident, a good friend treated me very well. But after the incident happened they didn't even say one good word about me to the media. They even stepped on my harder and it really hurt. But thankfully it was good to find out earlier that this person was not worth my time. If not, the pain could get deeper."

Although it was not Elanne's fault, but after the incident happened it had ruined Elanne's image. "I felt really unhappy, What did I do wrong. I am only a girl in her 20's. The reporters suddenly wrote such bad things about me. At first the company said Elanne Kong don't be scared. You are innocent and that's all that matters." But when 2 magazine headlines are saying the same thing it's like you have really done what they accused you of doing."

Elanne's eyes started to become red while she was drinking a cup of water. But she continued to not cry any tears. "When I viewed my blog, there were around 3000-4000 people scolding me. When I went out there would be people pointing there fingers at me saying I am that person having an affair with so and so. When I attended events the audience would say things to hurt me and telling me to go home. I had no respect from anybody. At that time I really didn't want to go out anymore, didn't want to see anyone, didn't want to see any light. I even didn't want to look at myself in the mirror."


Will Not be a coward

During the hardest time of her life, Elanne lost all her confidence. She thought about leaving the entertainment circle too. "I did discuss with my mother if I should not continue with my job. I wanted to use my real name Kong Ling and study overseas. But my mother wanted to me to continue and stay strong. She said I shouldn't do that because it would mean the incident is true. Also my mother is very proud of me joining the industry. Not because I am an artist but because I have changed. In the past I didn't even know how to wash my clothes. Everything I did would not last long. But since filming movies I can go without sleeping for 7 days. Even when I have a fever I will still go to work. She knows that I really enjoy working in this industry. That is why my mother wanted me to stay strong and continue. Time will prove people wrong."

Waiting for her true love

"I would really like a shoulder to lie on and someone to share my feelings with. When I first joined the industry I was afraid my fans wouldn't accept me dating and leave me. But after this incident, I feel my fans have experienced the whole journey with me. They do not mind at all and encourage me to date."

As a young male killer for her looks, Elanne shouldn't have problems finding a boyfriend. But it seems she is still in a fairytale world. She hopes to find a romantic guy but nowadays guys will not waste time on such things. "After entering the industry, I met a guy that I had strong feelings for, but I am someone who likes to get to know someone abit longer before starting a relationship. I only knew the guy for one day, he phoned me and said "Ah Ling, Can you tell me if you accept me because I am am struggling to know. If not, I will no longer disturb you. "My thoughts were if I did have feelings for you, I would still like to be pursued. Afterwards he never made contact with me again. After a few days I saw him holding hands with another girl , it was really funny".
