People are too egoistic nowadays; they claim they're too busy with work and own family but I think it's bs if you can't make an half an hour for your own (grand) parents in the weekends.
The truth is i don't really think her niece would be able to save her from depression but just visiting her occasionally really i mean she's 72, there's not much you can do at 72, everyone would feel depressed at that age if they think they have no purpose in life, the only way she could've helped her was to have a dedicated caretaker for her, not just nursing homes and shit but someone who would be able to emotionally connect with her, and that's very hard consider everyone dedicating their time in life to thrive for success in the economy...
