if you go out with a person and you say that you "love" him/her... when you guys break up after 1 or more years.. would you still love the person? (when i say love... it can be a friends love or w.e..) for me... i think if i say i love someone.. i will always love them forever... it might not be a boyfriend girlfriend type of love anymore.. but for some reason i would still love them.
Sounds more like a remorse or regret for breaking ties with someone completely. EDIT: @wind Lol then i guess your idea of love is an awkward one
depends on what ur definition is of love...i wouldnt say i love my ex bf.... the only person i said "i love u" to i still care abt him and he does have a place in my heart though we broke up over a year ago but its not love.... its just cuz of the past we had together i reckon i never say i love u to friends or family i think... i just shower them with hugs and kisses when i feel like it -^_^
My general advice on relationships is this: I may not be the one who you'll be with forever. But I will be the one you'll remember. I know guys who still are friends with their ex's for 20 years they still keep in their touch.
