Have you ever been caught for going over the speed limit?? I just got caught a couple of months ago for driving 30 over the limit >.<. Today, my best friend got a ticket for speeding near a school zone. Well, in my case, the cop was hiding somewhere in the buses and I had no idea he was using laser. Anyway, to make a long story short, I ended up paying about $250. I think I kinda learned my lesson -sweat
I've gotten 2 speeding tickets. First one - cop was setting pace on the road driving an unmarked/non-traditional vehicle. I blatantly sped past him and shot him a dirty look for hogging up the left lane. I got slapped with 2 tickets - speeding going 85 in a 55, and passing on right. Total cost = $500, but I went to court & plea bargained it down to $125, no points. Second one - I was going home from boarding, and I was driving on the left lane. I wanted to move over to the middle lane, but there was this car that was next to me. I kept waiting for him to either speed up or slow down so I could get over, but he kept driving the same pace as me. I sped up in front of him, passed him, and subsequently got pulled over by a cop who was out fishing. I was lasered @ 72 in a 40. I paid for the ticket in full... $300. Nowadays, I drive like a grandma... people throw banana peels & other garbage on my car because I drive @ the speed limit on the right lane of an interstate. When you get 2 speeding tickets within 6 months, you'll learn to slow down. Plus, if you're paying for your own insurance, you'll know to slow down.
I got tagged at 94 in a 50 once. I got 11 points and a suspended license. That really sucked. It did make me slow down though.
Yeah parking tickets in nyc are like $110 now and when you get a speeding ticket sometimes they charge these crazy handling fees that cost more than the ticket.
Nope, I don't drive the speed limit all the time, but i'm very cautious when I do speed, even a little.

Haven't got caught yet for speeding cause I don't always do it lol *knock on wood*; and even if I do speed (it will only be over by 10 km/hr or something) or I will make sure that there is someone who is speeding ahead of me, so the chances are, he/she will be the first one to get caught, muhahahaha -innocent2 -tongue2
good thing my car sux, my car can't go over 80 mph. I am very cautious about the school zone too so i have yet to be caught.
Ah yes... the built in speed limiter. -clapclap Never been pulled over for speeding, but something close. My buddies and I were being pulled over for racing on a deserted road. Even the sergent came out to "greet" us, apparently the cops thought our suspicious activity had to do with burying a dead body -shrug Just give us a warning and let us go once they figured we were just messing with our cars. One of the cops was actually just curious about our cars and asked us how fast we were running after telling us what was going on (and that we would be let go). Don't know why we told him, but we did... he said "Cool... that's fast!"
