Usually plays "evil kin", Sek Kin's funeral was held yesterday. Many entertainment industry friends and artistes attended paying their respects to him. After the ceremony, Uncle Sek's body will be transferred to Cape Collinson Crematorium for cremation, his ashes will be given to his wife for a Christian burial at a Chinese permanent cemetery.

Life has eyes, but spirit has no eyes. The veteran of the film industry Sek Kin (Real name: Sek Wing Jeung) passed away on June 3rd of this year at age 96. He lived for nearly a century. In everyone's eyes, Uncle Sek is always an "evil kin" (gan yan kin). but in reality he is actually a very good gentlemen, having good attitude towards people. His skills and professionalism will be widely read by the younger generation.

The memorial included a series of clips of Sek Kin's old works in film and series that the guest could enjoy and recall the past memories. After the clip viewing session, the rest in peace ceremony was held later that evening. And finally ending with a Goodbye forever ceremony, where Uncle Sek's grandchildren and family made their goodbye speeches.

There were more than 20 Artistes from the entertainment industry that attended along with the Media. Artistes who attended includes: Connie Chan Po Chu, Alan Tang, Nancy Sit, Chan Koon Tai, Ng Ming Choi, Kenneth Tsang, Chow Chung, Liza Wang. Someone under the "Barbara Yung HK Fan Club" sent in flowers.

So sad when I heard the news earlier, just funny how Dayo Wong was in the Evil Kin series (Shinobi's favorite, lol) but he makes himself so evil sometimes but funny at times as well.
