I think everyone here has at least once flown on an airplane before, so.. what are your experiences with them? I always used to fly with Cathay Pacific, those are extremely expensive (from all the planes to HK, they're the most expensive) and really don't give enough service back for it... The chairs are very cramped, I can hardly even move my legs and I'm not even that tall <_<. The meals are terrible and they put their aircon on very low. These past few years, I think they've changed to a smaller size plane too... I don't think I'm ever going to use that airline again. What about you guys?
I travelled cathay long haul to HK and I have to say it is much better than BA (you get more chinese/hk channels, movies, food and even pot noodles !). But yeh generally food on planes is disgusting, I usually just leave it. But thats what you get if you can only afford economy -cry2
the movies get borin i watched like the same films over and over again cos they didnt have much to choose from....next time i will bring a laptop and make sure its full of movies/shows of my own be prepared..for some reason i cannot sleep on a plane =/ maybe because the fear of an accident... i dont wanna die in my sleep.
My sis used to work for AA and lemme tell ya, nothin' like discounted first class lol. Umm, yes.. I'll have another filet mignon with a coke -lol.
China airlines is ok for flying to Asia. My sister & I took it on our last trip to Taiwan from NY. It took about 17 hours to get there. On the way back, they didn't stop, so it's like a direct flight. The thing that I hate about it is that it's so crowded and loud. Plus, the landing is always crappy. I always fear for my life when they land. The one good thing is that you can play video games while on the plane... Eva airways is good. The past 2 times that I've gone to Hong Kong, I've taken Eva air. I usually take the deluxe class or something, so the seats are very roomy (less than business but better than economy). Plus, there are games for me to play while I'm on the plane. The food is good too. There's a variety. I've taken Northwest to Asia before. I enjoyed it, but the layover in Japan was too long. US Airways, or as I call it, US Scare, is sooo terrible. They are never on time & they never offer an explanation as to why their flights are always delayed. Landings are not so good either. If you ever take the US Air Express, those planes are tiny and scarier. You can feel everything when it hits turbulence. As for US airlines, I think they're all pretty much the same. Crappy.
i usually take cathay.. but have also tried other airlines.. and so far.. in comparison.. cathay is the best.. but yea.. the food sucks.. big time. oh oh oh.. and the good thing about cathay.. is that ive met lotsa celebs on the flights.. =)
i have flight with malaysian airlines and lufthansa so far i can remember....i have forgotten which airline it was when i was 3
