Monday September 15, 2008 Hong Kong Fala Chen (陳法拉) attended an early Mid-Autumn celebration on Saturday, where she joined members of the public in some fun and games. When asked if she has been asked on a date for the festival, Fala revealed that normally she has to work for Mid-Autumn, so her friends have not invited her to any parties and she felt quite lonely. She added that her greatest wish would be for her parents to come to Hong Kong and spend the festival with her. With her character in the popular series Moonlight Resonance <家好月圓> receiving some good reviews, Fala said that she has had many offers of work as a result and many of her clients have made a special request for her to give a performance in sign language. Asked if she felt her performance has improved, she replied modestly that she still has room for improvement, but the audience seem to like her innocent girl image. As for the criticism about the lack of chemistry between Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) and Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Fala said that she had watched the show and she felt their performance was fine and not as bad as the critics have made suggested. Asked if she is confident of picking up an award at the TVB Anniversary awards this year, she smiled that she would love to win a supporting actress award, but she will not think about it too much. credits: batgwa.
