Former TVB actress Fala Chen (陳法拉), currently enrolled in a four-year master’s program at the Juilliard School in New York, is returning to Hong Kong to prepare for her upcoming play, Skylight <前度> with Dayo Wong (黃子華). On Thursday, Fala went on her official Facebook to greet her fans with a live video feed. She shared that it was her last day of her second year at school, and she was in the process of cleaning up her makeup area to make room for next year’s students. She will be moving into a new work space for the next school year. “This was my spot for the year,” said Fala as she showed her fans her personal work space. “Every day, every class, there would be ten minutes of free time where I could sit here and read books, eat, and rest. The space actually isn’t very big.” Fala’s work space is compact, but clean and organized. Next to her mirror was a corkboard, which she decorated with many cards written to her from her classmates and teachers. Fala said she would miss her “little heaven”, but looks forward to the new school year. “I’ll be going back to Hong Kong soon to rehearse for my next program, which is my play!
