What is your favorite beer? My #1 Favorite Beer: Sam Adams Summer Ale - Willing to drink all day long with anything. My 2nd Favorite Beer only on tap: Blue Moon My new favorite: Stella
I like the light and wheaty beers. In particular - Hefeweizens. Blue Moon is good too, but I've only liked the ones in bottle. Tap tastes weird for some reason.. Mm.. recently started liking Kirin light and Michelob Ultra Dragonfruit/peach scent.
Hmm, not many replies. I think many of us in here can't drink alcohol yet....legally, at least. LOL Wine is fine for me. hehe
Mmm. Patron is so good with salt and lime. But I'm off Patron. Can't seem to hold it down for the entire night.
Wheatbeer (Paulaner, Franziskaner) If I am in Chinese Restaurants they only got Tiger or Tsing Tao beer, makes no difference to me since both taste similar. Drink 5bottles of them is like drinkin 1 bottle of "real" beer ^^ It already gone so far that the manager in my fav restaurant serves me beer as soon as I enter the restaurant without me sayin anything...for them I am the guy who can drink a lot of beer ^^
I agree.. Weiss bier is cool. They are mainly from West Europe. It tastes smoother for me. Normally quite a premium compared to Tiger, Carlsberg or Heineken...
How'd I miss this thread.... A+ thread.... In terms of main stream brands, I'm going to have to go with either these two: I find that darker beers have much more flavour than lighter beers, pilsner, ale and lagers, due to the caramelization of the darker beer. Though not all dark beers are to my liking, some are bitter, some are overly sweet, or not enough carbonation. In terms of commercial beer that is available everywhere, and at any beer store should I have a craving, I like to go with the Rickard brewery. Though no beer beats beer in Germany. Once you go there, you wont want to fly back to North America. Now if there are beers I absolutely despise, are Budweiser, Coors, Molson, Canadian any any yeast water of the sort. Corona BARELY passes.
I remember how stunned I was by the low quality of American beers when I'd returned from Germany after spending three years there (courtesy of the American taxpayer). I had gotten so used to drinking "real" beer (every German town had several breweries, LOL...) that suddenly having to drink US branded beers again, really hit home that US beers are just pisswater.
^ So is that the brewed, or the carbonated version? brewed = alcohol = pass carbonated = soft drink = no alcohol = sooooooooft
