favorite singer for cantonese pop or mandarin pop? anyways...for me..im hoping edmond leung would win this year..this guy been in the entertainment for almost like 18 years..something like that, near the time when andy hui join..andy hui had been in et circle for about 20 years, but atleast he won once and got recognition from ppl..i think edmond leung should have won like year 2003-2004..his seven friends song was good! but after those years he lost, he still didnt give up in singing..his songs for this year is pretty good in my opinion..not much hit songs out yet, like how others were saying in other forum...so i cant really predict if he will win, since he is not so popular..other than that, the other male nomination on my list is andy hui, and eason chan(he might have a hit song in the end, but not sure)..for female, dont see much outstanding competition this year..maybe miriam? but her song are so-so..please..no joey..denise ho is not my cup of tea..sammi is not even planing to be in the competition.. i cant tell about others, cuz their album not out yet..like kelly chen? new generation singers that i think have some good songs this year: janice, stephanie cheng, justin lo, kary ng, stephy tang, theresa fu, hins cheng,forgot who else.. i think songs are getting weird these days..not sure if it is the lack of creative lyricist or what..but in the 90's, most of the songs were good when they got in the top ten and the competition was great..i miss those days..=( these are just my opinion..please do not get offended and yell at me just because you dont agree what i say..yeah..i know award is around the corner..everyone is discussing about it..i hope i can hear about what you guys think to..=)
