The couple's wedding photos were taken at the pastures of Xinjiang, back in 2005 Mandopop diva Faye Wong's wedding photos with husband Li Yapeng surfaced for the first time after the duo tied the knot six years ago. It is believed that the pictures were taken in July 2005. Faye and Yapeng chose to have them taken on the pastures of Xinjiang, China, against the backdrop of Tian Shan. In the simple photo shoot, Faye wore a white, lace wedding gown, while Yapeng was decked in a black tuxedo. According to an insider, the couple had chosen Tian Shan as the place to take their wedding photos because Yapeng born in Xinjiang and he would need to return to the autonomous region to register his marriage. Tian Shan was chosen not only for the beautiful scenery. Most importantly it was a secluded place, far away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi making it a perfect choice for the very private Faye.
