    OMG!! FIDO changed completely! www.fido.ca
    [IMG]

There is no more system access fee and 911 free however theses plans stil don't come with callerid and voicemail..they are just givin less minutes and substitutin with SMS..the unlim sms is so tempting since in anywhere in canada....but they plan itself still suck...fido can do way better than these plans....even the $17.50 killer plan last month is better than thiss...WOW FIDO SUX! and fido still have the CRAPPIEST phones cept for the iphone...Canada has the worst and most expensive cellphone plans...even the data is a joke when usa gets unlim data for 20... we need better companys

apparently the unlimited on device mobile browsing option is only for fido phones you get from fido. Not unlocked phone. I learned that the hard way.

Fido has crap phones, who would use their phones!!!

no shit. everything does nowadays, if you want hardware discount.

    Add-On Options
$10 Value Pack - Call Display w/ Name Display, Whocalled, Enhanced Voicemail

shitty. some carriers give you 100 sms and unlimited incoming on top. save 7 bucks.

$10 iPhone Value Pack - Call Display, Who Called, Visual Voicemail

    same shit.

$15 Value Pack - Call Display w/ Name Display, Whocalled, Enhanced Voicemail, 5PM Evenings, Unlimited On-Device Browsing

5PM evening is a plus. otherwise, all carriers have it.

$10 Unlimited Incoming Calling Option - Only available with new Fido Plans

the fuck? Bell gives it as a free feature....

$5 for 200 SMS in Canada

how about 50 more for the same price?

$10 for Unlimited SMS in Canada

this is good. Bell has it for 25.

$20 for Unlimited LD in Canada

    this is not bad either.

$30 for Unlimited LD in North America (originating in Canada)

    i guess this too.

    $3 - Call Forwarding

    comes free for some carriers.

    $5 - International LD Saver

    $15 - 2MB Data

    avg

    $25 - 500MB Data

    $30 - 1GB Data

    bad. Bell gives UNLIMITED.

    $60 - 3GB Data

VERY BAD. Bell gives UNLIMITED FOR HALF THE PRICE. WTF?!?!

$5 - Full Fido 50 minutes out of Zone Minutes

    useless...

    Some new Rules
No more couples plans - old plans will be grandfathered
No more Q3 Voice plans - old plans will be grandfathered
No more 3 Year Terms (except on iPhones) <- this is actually pretty good. people HATE 3 year plans from ANY carriers.
No more 3 Year Data Terms (only MTM or 2 Year) <- data had terms? that's shitty...
No BOGO Offer in Q4 - 7 $0 phones offered <- GAY. BOGO is sick. access to GOOD phones. $0 phones are shitty and crappy. breaks on you in two days.
No more $50 3G Discount <- still runs for Bell.
No more $100 Data Discount <- still runs for Bell. in fact, Bell gives you $200 off of selected phones.

$25 Setup fee for current customers switching to new plans <- save $10
$35 Activation fee for all new customers <- same shit everywhere.
All price plan changes must be done through CS now <- gay. Bell can do it at a store near you. no need to piss off at CS, and arguing with them since they will try to change you to a plan you can't afford.
$2 for customers wanting paper invoice (will be credited for now) <- Bell saves you $1 LOL

All customers on new price plans can now only use Fido Dollars towards full price of Hardware (no agreement credit)

$125 Data Discount (taken in store) when buying the Jack on a 2 year agreement with data plan on 2 Year agreement. <- that's a shitty discount.

$35 Activation fee is NON REFUNDABLE - even within 15 days. LOL WTF?!?! NO SHIT

ECF / DECF stay the same.

Customers can still add lines to grandfathered family plans.

Reason I talk about Bell a lot, even though I don't like it, is because I work for it, and I just want to say that all carriers have nearly the same shit. don't get cheated.

if you go on contract they'll giv eyou a sim...cause you need a number

  14. The_Jelly

    The_Jelly NSFW? :P

I swear I heard one of the carriers don't give you a sim card. So you can't switch phones.

    kdotc 안녕하세요빅뱅K-Dragon입니다

bell and telus r the ones that don't give sim cards because they're non gsm therefore you are stuck with their phones as long as you're on contract however i heard that in the future they are moving towards the GSM sector. Fido and Rogers are the carriers that are GSM and you can use GSM phones from other countries and all you need is a sim card to activate the phone locally
