Which non-european & non-south american countries will be the first to win World Cup? Post your opinions here.
Ghana looks good.. USA... Japan and S.Korea has a chance too but it's going to be tough for anyone outside of S.A and Europe.
Ghana, USA look like the front runners. Australia can also have a chance if they hit an easy group stage. BUT DON'T RULE THE ASIANS OUT. SOUTH KOREA AND JAPAN. Japan have got alot of young players who can come up. With a world cup experience, give the likes of Hasebe, Honda, Kawashima and Okazaki in 2014 and they could be even better provided they get the right coaching. South Koreans always look handy too. Their team is based on fitness and if they can keep running and running non-stop and add a few tackles and goals, they also look good. Favourites though have to be USA. Big country, MLS is improving (debatable) and I think sooner or later we will see them as world champions.
No way. Germany youngsters wil dominate World Cup in future. Thomas Mueller is the top scorer again!!! Spain can stil win but their players r aging, they wil go into 30's. Spain's ball possesion n counter-attack play was simply awesome. England has no chance of winning WC since no future prospects were seen in the national team. Argentina need to find more talents in defence. The same goes to South Korea (need to get a better keeper too) Japan is awesome despite decrease in star players. Brazil is getting weaker after their 4Rs-Ronaldo,Rivaldo,Ronaldinho n Roberto Carlos era ends.
errr probably never as in think their countries are just not talented for example china you can see how bad they are
Its really hard to see a non-European/S. American team not winning the World Cup in 2014. You have top teams like Spain, Holland, Germany, Argentina, Brazil and possibly Uruguay who are a real emerging side! You still have teams like France, England, Italy and Portugal that can reach the Quarter Finals. Outside of those two continents, my money would be on a African Team like Ghana or the Ivory Coast though Japan play excellent football though they lack some steel in the team. I just can't see Austrailia or USA competing for the tops spots, maybe 2nd round.
