Monday November 12, 2007 Hong Kong Fiona Sit (薛凱琪) has been appointed the celebrity ambassador for the Christmas promotion at MTR Shopping Centres in Hong Kong and she took part in a Disney Pixar Christmas illuminations switch on event today with Khalil Fong (方大同) and Pakho Chau (周柏豪). At the event, Fiona painted a picture of Sully from Monsters Inc. whilst Khalil and Pakho played the guitar and the piano. She revealed that when she was a child, she was quite mature for her age and did not like playing with soft toys and when she was dating, her boyfriend knew that she preferred collecting figures, so he did not buy her any either. Now it is only her fans that will buy her soft toys. Fiona's rumoured boyfriend Khalil was asked whether or not he will be presenting her with a toy that he has made himself, he said that this was not his strong point, so he would not be doing it. Upon hearing this, Fiona helped him out, asking the reporters not to force him because this was not his strong point. Asked if she will be filming for the sequel to Truth Or Dare: Sixth Floor Rear Flat <六樓后座>, Fiona said that this is being sorted by her company and she just does what is arranged for her. Fiona and Pakho were also in Mongkok yesterday, promoting Pakho's debut EP single Beginning. They attracted over a hundred people to the store and police had to be called in to keep order. They each sold eight copies of the CD as a good luck gesture. Pakho's fans were extremely affectionate towards him, presenting him with gifts, including a pair of red underpants, a t-shirt, cakes and popcorn. Fiona revealed that her junior was very nervous and was suffering from an upset stomach as a result. She smiled that she was the same when she first entered the industry, but she had the support of her predecessors, which was very encouraging. She added that he had put a lot of work into his album and hoped for him to become a successful handsome singer-songwriter. Pakho admitted that he was very nervous and has fallen ill a lot recently as a result, but seeing that his record was selling quite well made him feel much better. He said that he went to a record shop in Causeway Bay to buy his own album and the shop owner smiled at him saying she never thought it would sell so well, leaving him not knowing what to say.
