Former TVB actress and 1996 Miss Hong Kong second runner-up, Fiona Yuen (袁彩雲), gave birth to a baby girl on August 5. The baby weighed over 6 pounds and resembled her father, Anthony Kong (江銘峰). Fiona has not decided on the name for her daughter yet, torn between the names of Alison and Alycia. In 2009, Fiona married restaurateur Antony Kong, moved to Vancouver, and retired from acting. This year in March, the 37 year-old announced that she was pregnant. Fiona decided to return to Hong Kong to give birth, and in the last few weeks busily met with friends and made several brand appearances. In the delivery room, Antony was quite nervous while watching the birthing process of their first child, which made Fiona cry emotionally. Fiona’s good friend, Bell Lau (劉曉彤), visited mother and daughter at the hospital. Since Bell already has three children, she excitedly shared parenting tips with Fiona. Since Fiona was still feeling weak at the time, Bell helped changed a soiled diaper. Although it is only the fourth day since giving birth, Fiona is recovering well. She is breastfeeding, but the baby has a small mouth and takes her time to drink. Fiona will remain in Hong Kong during her postpartum confinement and recovery, so that her elder sister and godmother can take care of her.
