So yeh it's been almost a year since i got with my bf and im wondering what should i get him to celebrate this special event I always suck at choosing gift for him...Anything he wants he gets it himself so each time is pretty difficult for me (like at christmas or his bday haha xD) So any idea? ><'' (Yeh it does sound like a pretty lame probleme actually ...XD)
just have a romantic evening... buy him a couple's watch or neckless or something.. =) not tooooo expensive tho!! =P
my girlfriend got me Starcraft 2 the collectors edition for our one year... I got her a tiffany and co bracelet with our initials engraved. It sounds like I'm similar to your bf in the fact that I buy everything I want for myself, however he's bound to have some hobbies or things he likes that he doesn't have everything of yet. After 1 year you should know the sorts of things he likes. Think hard of nice things that he owns and get him something similar, but different If you really can't think of anything, make a small stack of "sexual favor" cards that he can use at any time! -lol
Buy him a guitar xD I bought one for Resentless... But I've never heard him playing it! :( But yeah... I think you should know what kind of stuff he likes... And otherwise... Make a beautiful painting with your own touch... or something like that haha (too bad I'm not that artistic ) Mostly... when my bf wants to buy something, I tell him not to buy, because {any reason you can think of}... and then surprise him with that present
To TS: I think many people have this problem so don't worry its not lame at all! I for one always get frustrated when I have to buy my bf a gift. I think that you should get him something that he'll look at or use and think of you. 1 year is a pretty special mark in the relationship so you could always go for a gift that you two can enjoy together. For example, concert tickets to his favorite band or sports team and a fancy dinner. If you don't want to wait for those events then you can do something really special like maybe a helicopter ride over the city you live in, but you might have to spend a little more? Or If you want to give him something he can use and keep get him a nice wallet or someting related to technology? When it comes to guys, I've noticed that they like gifts they can really use or ones that they'll remember like. They are not as big on clothes like women are! Hope this helps!
i agree with bala, best to get something that you know he likes/uses, but if he loves you, a custom made picture frame ain't bad, i got that for my first year and it still reminds me of back then everytime i see it
Don't know why guy/gal gotta get each other gift once they started dating seriously. It's a waste of time and money. I stopped after my wife (or ex) and I date officially .. we just reserved those "special days" free for "us" time ... spend our time together .. eating out, going to movie, or whatever .. just the two of us .. rather put the money in the bank for future wedding use or whatever .. why waste money on most likely junks gift anyway.
