Does anyone here know how to use it to the fullest? as to how i can get the max connection, download the files at a faster rate and etc. All help would be appreciated. THanks a lot.
You talking about the torrent function of Flashget? Or the DDL? If you're using Flashget for torrent I advise you stop and switch to either Azureus or uTorrent. If you're talking about DDL speeds I don't think you can really do much.
The program attempts to maximize your connection to its fullest potential. Personally, speed-wise it doesn't help much. But if you're using it to queue downloads or something then its great, otherwise, just stick to firefox's download manager.
it totally depends on the website you use many ddl sites limit the amount of connections you are allowed such as megaupload only allows 1 connection, so it isnt much use. Some websites do give multiple connections but yeh like Jelly said it can be useful for websites that allow resumes, etc
alrite thanks alot. i thought by using it for direct dl it would speed up. well i guesss i'll stick to firefox. is bitcomet still good or i need to switch over??
^ If Bitcomet works for you then don't switch. I just thought you might be using the Flashget torrent function.
^its pretty simple to set up, google for guides. you can download the stand alone version which doesnt even need to be installed onto the pc, it will run off the downloaded file
