What are some things that everyone should eat when they go to Hong Kong? I am craving some already. All that food being sold on the side of the streets!! mmmmmmmm....
I thought many of those food vendors on the streets are gone? You don't get it EVERYWHERE, only the really popular hang out locales... Hm, "Wun Zai Chi" (fish fin in a bowl?) and fish balls! and waffles!!! Absolutely *heart* those waffles sold on the street!
i never really been to hong kong before, but would like to go tho. i want to try some of hong kong style food.
whoa so many 'gai been dong' i love love these: - yuu daan (fish balls gotta be on a stick of course) - won tun noodles - gai daan jai - cheung fun - but jai gow well there the ones i can think of off the top of my head right now oo not to mention the fruit juice stands which are also yummy -drool
Food The food sold at streets stall are losing quality. If you have a day to spare, hop to Macao where you can still find something cheap and tasteful, but not necessary "clean" by western standard, around the three markets. The 4th one at Yao hon I do not recommend.
stollen thread...kindda heh, mong kok has a good pancake stand..... strawberry and cream.... also go to satay kings... or king satays i think... and try white curry..... really nice i promise....
hmm the street vendor is the only place that one could lives of for days. The variety that is aviable is far better then the food that they serve in the resturant. This is making me hungery....
