OMG..the A/C in my office at work has been out of whack for ages now and it still has not been fixed. For some reason, the air surrounding my desk is so~ cold its like im in a blizzard..These days i always have to come prepared with a jacket to put up with the dang aircon..The problem has been reported ages ago too.. Now..the coldness seems to have seeped to the other areas in the office..everyone is starting to complain about the cold..bloody air blows right at the keyboard so i get stiff fingers..and lately, i've been sitting there..shivering at my desk...and its the only desk in there that has a 'working in good order' computer... *sigh.. oh well... just HOPE it gets fixed real soon... lucky im only there once a week tho..geez..its high summer and im freezing?? LOL?
LOL I'd rather dress what it's like outside..if you know what i mean...don't really wanna lug a black jacket around..in the heat..I don't have a big enough bag to shove it in so i either have to wear it or hold it..neither of which is very pleasant..and the job i have requires me to leave the office building sometimes so it becomes a bother..during work hours its ok..coz i can just leave the thing anywhere..but when its time to go home..that's when i really have to face the heat..and i take public transport as well..but yeh..i guess being in the cold when the heat is at its peak has its advantages tho, eh? thing is tho..the heat hits me doubly hard when i step outside..as i've spent most my time somewhere cold :/ its now Autumn and i seriously hope they do something~!
Well .. either ya'll keep nagging your management about it or continue to suffer the coldness. Obviously, this doesn't concern the mngt since they're sitting in their offices... lol Petition and call a meeting to express your concern to the mngt .. state that if the condition continues, someone is bound to get sick and it affects work productivity, etc... know what I mean? Fixing the AC has to get up on that priority list and nothing get the mngt attention more if ya'll said it's affect work productivity .. lol
Send a note thanking your management for spending the extra money on such a powerful AC system that they then run on ultra high all the time. Tell them the staff just loves the super cool atmosphere so much that they would like to spend their days off in the office just so they won't have to spend a dime of their own money on AC. In a week, your office will be hot as hell, I guarantee it.
HAHAHA~ LOL Love your suggestions.. wonder if reverse psychology works tho...haha well..now they are fixing the entire building's AC atm..its a 4 story building with idk how many departments..and they are starting from east to west, top to bottom..here's the good part..the area i work in is in the furthest corner on the bottom-est floor on the west side...xP how lucky is that, eh? Seems liek the a/c has gone COMPLETELY whacko.. oh..then in additional to this..i had to work in the dark at one time coz the light above my desk broke..literally..they had to get an electrician in to fix it..felt sooo weird..lol..
