Served with ponzu dipping sauce. * Fugu Kara-age Floured and deep fried. * Fugu Hire-zake Grilled fin is put in hot sake drink.
Well, the price tag seems common to the value of other asian seafood delicacies. Although, I'd personally pass on this, even though the risk is miniscule when prepared by the highly skilled chefs. But then again...maybe at least once when I get the chance. The fish looks amusing when swimming, but looks a lot better on plate. =)

Fresh market in Kyoto and this fish stand apparently sold (dried) Fugu parts. (it wasn't Fugu season yet) The real ones looks funny when they're bloated....
