Full time acting on Eason's mind After committing many years to music, Hong Kong singer, Eason Chan, is considering turning his attention towards acting. He felt the change would allow him to stay in the entertainment industry well into the years. Eason felt that there will also be more chances to discover new talents for the industry. Eason confessed that he is not a professional actor. Because of commitments to other areas of work, he lacks the time to fully study and build the characters he portrays. As such, he ends up playing characters closer to his off screen personality most of the time. To Eason, every film shot is a learning experience. On the sets of Corrupt All Cops, he was able to meet many like-minded people, with a passion for acting. Other than honing his acting skills, he also gained knowledge in other areas as well. Hong Kong writer, Chan Koon Chung's books were recommended to him by Anthony Wong, with whom Eason often discusses books with on set. Eason commented, "I'll put more time into acting in the future. Singing is dependent on one's state of health (stamina), especially in concerts where you can't rely on others for your own performance. In acting, the performance can be enhanced with acting skills and emotions, there are also stunt doubles. And besides, there are only a handful of singers that last till they are over 70 years old, unlike actors, on the other hand, of which there are quite a number of them!"
