Some of you know that i've been deciding over the S1 or Iphone 4. Getting a plan through a staff plan, so iphone 4s and Galaxy S2 is not the option in this case. It belongs to the Telus carrier, and i've asked rth and Dan for opinions. But i wanna have more opinion between the two phone.. so thanks
I have both of them and I can only suggest you to get the iPhone4. I am not an Apple Fan at all, but the Galaxy S just doesn't have the performance and speed. It crashes frequently and has massive lags. If you are planning to take photos you also will miss the LED Flash. But of course it has good things aswell, like the really really good Super AMOLED Display, it enhanced the colors just right. Also it has the Full Bluetooth function ability which the iPhone doesn't have. The iPhone, well...I really don't like using itunes, but that's only my opinion. It limits you in so many ways and it's not easy to use either. One wrong click and you might lose all your content. Battery Life are on both pretty poor, my Galaxy S last after 1 and half year of usage for about half a day until it needs connects to the mains.
The phone Jeff is asking about.. To be specific on which Galaxy S. Samsung Fascinate Galaxy S vs. iPhone 4.
Oh alright, he didn't say that on his initial post. I didn't even know that there are so many different Galaxy S versions out there. The version I talked about was the Galaxy S GT i9000
If it is only the Fascinate and iPhone 4, I will recommend the iPhone 4. The only good Galaxy S1 right now is the Galaxy S 4G on T-mobile which has the front facing camera and 4g modem for higher theoretical speeds. All of the other models are 3g. Since you are going to be choosing between Fascinate and iPhone 4, go with iPhone 4 for more app support and style.
Seems like Telus now have S2 available.. So i chose to go with the S2. See if my application for S2 goes through
Both phone is more than 1yr old. Galaxy using Android, Iphone use apple.. Have you consider Nexus One? i using mine since march 2010. So it is very reliable, faster especially with my T-mobile 3G speed.
Nexus one is older than both phones. Galaxy S2 and iPhone 4S are only a few months old. I don't know what you're talking about.
I ordered the S2. Hopefully i can port out my # so i dont after reask everybody their # & give them my #.
Telus Carrier, so its S2 X or something. There wasnt even iphone 4s, but even if there was i still woulda went for the s2
