Gambling plot.....again!?

Haven't watched it yet >.<... so i don't know...
But i wouldn't mind if there was gambling in this series as long as it's cool. Is the gambling with cards or is it gambling on different things?
The casts in this series are good. I expect this film to be alright

 

In gambling terms, Dicey was better.

I learned how to play 5-stud.

 

Brink of Law not talk about gambling in few of the chapter. the series is more about law and rich family problem

 

^With gambling as its backdrop. DB used gambling as its main focus. I like poker, but it got really annoying watching the characters in DB constantly playing. If I really wanted to watch poker, I can watch TSN.

I like the added law and wealthy family aspect added to tBoL.

 

this series shud be better than dicey business...dicey business aim was to talk abt gambling..winning each other and stuff...but in brink of law..it's about catching illegal gambling like Soccer..the most famous illegal gambling.......Horse racing and stuff...

so i think this will be better than DB

 

dicey business's gambling was good..as good as brink of law

 

i dun mind this plot again... totally different concept compared to dicey bussiness but dicey was wicked!

 

This series, up to this point (episode 10), is way more interesting than Dicey Business, by far.
The plot isn't exactly about "gambling" (except for the first 4-5 episodes) yet. Though, on the Download sections, the character descriptions say that "Steven Ma: an inspector that'll crack down on illegal gambling," which might hint the fact that there will be more gambling in the following episodes.

Even if it's gonna dwell on illegal gambling, it won't be too similar to Dicey Business, I would imagine. TVB wouldn't be so bland.
I have a feeling it's gonna be good, though.
I just hope that the ending won't be rushed like it did in Dicey Business.

 

I think this series is different from the Dicey Business series. The Brink of Law talks about horse racing and like betting, and Dicey Business is more of the casino type. This series is alot better though because there's more action.

 

the storyline is different dicey business is more about gambling and brink of law is briefly about gambling because their plot is on horse racing

 

illegal gambling i don't know about that ! but you sure can learn alot from gambling rules are so!

the show is nothing compared to dicey business ... illegal gambling is just an old TV trick

 

It was only the first few episodes that were gambling. Now it's more of about the rich family, their problems, and the fact that they're actually doing something worse than gambling (firearms issue).

 

god of gamble?? dicey business? some gamble movie shows some love story. but god of gamble not.. it is a funny show

 

different concepts. its more about the problems of the rich family, and internal conflicts.

 

Just started series and hope there isn't too much gambling plots in it...I think TVB has milked the gambling POV enough for the next 50 yrs.
