Getting a Scooter

I'm trying to get a scooter from my dad and, should I get a kick scooter or should I get a electric motor scooter if I can. If I get a motor scooter and it runs out of batteries, is kicking efficient enough as a regular kick scooter?

 

If you HAVE to get a scooter for your dad, then I highly suggest you get a motor one.

 

But then again he's cheap.. So I don't know if I can get the motor one

 

i thought you are the one that's getting your dad the scooter? what's that got to do with him being cheap? or is it one of those things - you get for your dad but he's paying for it?
