Hmmm. I thought I would throw this onto the net and sees what ppl would say. So the other day, I was stoped by this asian girl (volunteer) that was asking for donations. So I had some change and donated. Now, the girl invited me to church (worship), and since I have never been to one, I went. To my surprised, the worship was mostly women..like 80 percent... after the worship, they invited me to a party...I didn;t expected it and already have plans,,,they have asked me to go every sunday...now I 'm thinking maybe at most every 2 weeks... how do I get out the jam nicely???? Neone?
^ditto. it's not like they're forcing you to go right? it's simply an invitation that you can turn down. lol. so you feel uncomfortable because, basically, it's a girl-filled church?
ditto the decline and leave, if asked again simply keep declining, if they dont get the picture by now they are fanatics, it would be wise to bring out some body armor, jk.... but if you must say something, girl: are you coming next sunday? you: nah i can't my mom's got this dinner date set up for me to meet my future wife and i really can't miss it it would be rude. girl: oh, well thats ok maybe next next sunday you: actually, i'm a really scientific guy, i was hoping to do some individual research before i go back. i'm pretty busy so the self-study might take a while
just don't show up on those next sundays and don't give them any phone numbers or stuff so they can't call you and drive you nuts by asking are you coming this week are you coming next week
the more excuses u give the more worse it gets just tell them that ur not comfortable going to church because you arent ready ... simple as that
