They have hombrews for firmware 2.0 and even up to 2.5 by now. U can also use the psp to control a $25,000,000 car via wi-fi.

you can also surf the net on a v1.5...there are several web browsers but apparently the best one "apparently" is the fired up browser...so if you have a wireless access point then try googling "fired up browser psp" and c wat you get. to launch it you need an iso luancher like umd emulator or devhook. any more questions just ask me...enjoy!

this is just the tip of the iceberg...there are also tonnes of emulators like snes, gbc, neocd, sega, atari, commodore etc etc

you can also play ddr on psp...its called pspr (r for revolution)

a funny/kewl function is the remote control XD i went to a friends place and he was like wtf coz i kept changing channels while i was "pretending" playing on my psp hehe
