Gigantic size Super-Strawberry

A new strawberry called Super-Strawberry was successfully
bred recently in Japan by a farmer called Okuda.

Okuda has 31 years experience of planting strawberry.

The Super-Strawberry is born with a length of 8.5 centimeter,
weight of 80 grams, it sells at the price of
50,000 yen (about 560 USD).

Okuda focused the market of this high price strawberry
on high income customers.

 

I saw this on a japanese show and as good as they made it to be and I'm sure it's going to be great but for $560, I can buy 500+ lbs of regular ones. Still, I wouldn't mind trying one:eat:.-drool

 

I'll stick with reg ones if they cost THAT much...

 

holy fuck lol, but it tastes the same, whoever purchases that shit is a dumbass, it'll go bad in like a couple of days.

 

i will only applaud if it was the size of my fist! or as big as an apple

 

i could buy way more with the money i would save....

 

look like some biohazard product,don't know what will happen to our body if we eat it........

but to see a strawberry that big, i don't think i can hold back and just take a big bite outa it. or blend it into a smoothie haha

 

wth?it costs that much??i thought it would have been cheaper than buying 80g of normal strawberries

 

the farmer guy could at least make the strawberry cost a reasonable amount. heck you can get four times as much strawberries (mass wise) with at least 200 times less money.

It's only good if the strawberry is real sweet. no point buying if its just an average tasting strawberry.

 

wouldn't that turn the strawberry into a scary and angry one

 

i wouldn't mind buying one if i'm super rich and got nothing better to do
