Monday March 12, 2007 HongKong Gigi Lai Chi, Kevin Cheng Ka Wing, Matthew Ko, Queenie Chu Wai Man, and the cast for "Life Art" 《 寫 意 人 生 》were at a mall promoting for their new series, which will be broadcast on March 12th. The cast split into teams for the flower arrangement, calligraphy, and drawing segments. The cast also distributed red roses to the fans present. One of Gigi's wealthy fans gave Gigi a lucky packet and purple roses. Kevin's fans were quite ecstatic when they spotted their idol and wouldn't let go of him, causing Kevin to cry out in alarm. Reporters asked how Gigi would reciprocate if the ratings for "Life Art" were ideal? "Wearing a bikini is outdated, as I am no longer 18 or 22 years old. People will only chuckle if I do so." "It would be better for the cast to chip in money and share an abalone, sea cucumber, and shark fin dinner. I will contribute some cash for raffle prizes. If the ratings reach 30 points, I will contribute $3,000 (HKD). For each additional point, I will put in an additional $1,000 (HKD)." Aside from contributing cash, Gigi also intends to donate to charity the gifts and lucky packets she received from wealthy fans. TVB will be airing 3 new series on March 12th: Esther Kwan's "Best Selling Secrets" (aka "Colleague Relationships"), "Life Art" and "War and Destiny." Was Kevin worried about the ratings performance for "Life Art?" Kevin responded, "'Life Art' is a comedy, so I will assume a relaxed attitude. It is hard to predict audience's tastes sometimes." Kevin's recent series have enjoyed good ratings and was pointed out to be a "ratings guarantor." Kevin explained quickly, "Please don't say that; I'm uncertain as to how ratings will be!" Taking a similiar position as rumored girlfriend, Niki Chow Lai Kei, Kevin also did not respond directly to their romantic rumors. "I will follow my principles from the last 10 years. In the past, I did not speak about my dating relationships. I will not change my position now either, as it produces unnecessary pressure. wow thats so sweet of gigi lols althoug $3000 is lyke nothing to her but yeah wearing bikini is outdated everyone does that hehe =D this show is pretty okie so far even though just watched 2 ep
I think chipping in to have a yummy dinner is a better idea than wearing a bikini to celebrate.. I never understood the point in that anyways..
