Gillian Chung arrives in China with Edison Chen's father Gillian Chung arrived at her third stop, China, to promote the jeans she is endorsing. Chinese reporters coincidentally met Edison Chen's father who arrived in the same plane, creating a commotion in the airport. After alighting from the plane, Chung was seen stopping in the custom to freshen up before exiting. On flashes of magnesium lights, she walked out with a smile on her face, faced the media calmly and waved to the cameras, making a good start to her comeback in China. 10 minutes after Chung exited, Chen's father Chen Ze Min, a businessman, also walked out of the same door alone with the baggage trolley. He was immediately recognized and surrounded by reporters, totally confused and unaware of what was going on. When asked if he knew Chung was on the same flight as him, Chen shook his head and said, "I don't know" He avoided all other questions, thanked the media for their concern and walked out of the arrival hall. For her first job in China after the comeback, the company expected chaos and stepped up on security measures to protect Chung all the way. Police were also deployed to maintain order. Despite chaos management, stampede still occurred; the situation lost control at one point of time that fans fell, flowerpots broke and media reporters lost their phones.
