Gillian Chung definitely returning to showbiz in year of Ox Gillian Chung's manager, Mani, revealed to the press recently that Chung's comeback has been confirmed to take place in the year of the Ox. Scandalous photos of Chung and Edison Chen were exposed early last year over the Internet, strongly affecting their reputation and career, forcing them to withdraw from showbiz. Chung celebrated her 28th birthday one week in advance on Jan 14 with Joey Yung and a group of friends. Having been away from the camera for some time, Chung reappeared in radiance and great shape, looking ready to resume work anytime. It is said the group was also celebrating Chung's comeback to the entertainment industry. According to reports, Chung is still a model, very much sought after by advertisers such as skin care companies and apparel companies. Sze Chuan domestic motor vehicle company has also expressed wishes to engage her as their endorsee. The deputy managing director of the company was pleased to say that Chung's image matches that of their brand. In view of the high demand, Chung's company, Emperor Entertainment Group, has turned down some offers to ease some pressure. Mani has also admitted to have met with advertisers on Chung's behalf. "Everything has not been settled, but Gillian will definitely return to the industry in the year of the Ox," she said. Mani also revealed that Chung will be focusing on movies and advertisements in the first half of the year, but in low-key note. The latter will be getting back with Charlene Choi, fellow member of Twins, in the second half of 2009 to release a new album.
agree, doubt her comeback will be successful, been away for so long there are others that can take her place, she originally modelled her image on innocence, obviously cnt do that now!
