tbh i wouldn't let my kids play with gun accessories, period. when we were younger things werent so bad so we had potato(spud) guns (remember them?) and stuff.. but now.. not happening.
lol the gun related stuff that i had was a water gun that's it! hell i love them! Dont think i even played violent games when I was younger......
when i was younger we did not have crazy violent games cus it was not socially acceptable, most violent thing i had was double dragon. then... mortal kombat... then carmagheddon.. then it went from there
don't blame the tools, blame the user. i've been surrounded by weaponry all my life, do you see me running around the streets downing people? also, on a side note, to those who think that guns are bad, swords are bad etc etc, you should re-evaluate your hatred towards violence. it is not the tool the kills people, it is the person who uses the tool, that kills people.
^ this goes back to the argument whether games makes you violent or not or even... does other people being violent around you make you violent too..
I hate cars because people die in accidents. I hate electricity because people get shocked. I hate water because people drown in it. Lets ban all these because it's harmful. Idiots...
The dad is to be blamed for this ... it's stupid to put a gun close to a child. Should've known better ..
His excuse is... But then I never condoned the use of guns... let's give everyone pepper sprays and tazers... they seem more fun! hahaa
where did you get that quote from or did you make it up..... i think your company has a big factor on who you become
^ of course I made it up! Can't you imagine them actually thinking that in their heads as they have a gun?
im not against guns, i would like to experience hunting with a shotgun if i went to the states and had a licence. but as a parent i would not let my kids play with guns, real or toys, that would be my choice as a parent for my child, nothing more, nothing less. seeing a gun or a sword in a cabinet is on thing but having them play with toy versions for fun and enjoyment is another matter imo, but if a parent is ok with that then thats their choice. lol u crazy, didnt he say he heard an animal outside or something?
An animal!? WTF seriously if you heard an animal outside you would just leave it alone? As if there's a coincidential lost lion that escaped from the zoo nearby.... I wouldn't blame him if he thought there was an intruder or trespasser walking around his property
I would investigate the trigger pull on the weapon in question and determine the likelihood that a 3 year old could exert the amount of energy needed to discharge the weapon. We could be looking at a murder and not an accident.
I don't clearly remember the last time I shot a semi-automatic pistol but I do faintly remember that the the trigger required very little pressure before the weapon fires. I'm not too certain if all guns are this way since I only had the chance to fire 2 different guns. However, I do agree with you on the basis that this might not be an accident.
when I was a kid, i didn't have loaded guns lying on the coffee table either. this has less to do with Wii and more to do with the parent.
