From April 26th to May 3rd, DC Inside conducted a survey titled, “Which rookie girl group are you anticipating the most in the post-SNSD era?” After 9,065 votes, the adorable ladies of Girl’s Day placed first with 1,903 (21%) votes. Girl’s Day debuted earlier in 2011 with “Tilt My Head“, and has been receiving attention with both their cute and sexy image. 2nd place went to miss A with 1,631 (18%) votes. This JYPE girl group had large interest from even before their debut and exploded with popularity with their debut song “Bad Girl Good Girl“. miss A revealed their new song “Love Alone” on May 2nd, and the girls also performed the opening act for Kim Yuna’s ice show. A Pink came in 3rd place with 1,438 (16.4%) votes. Having only debuted in April, A Pink has captured fan boys’ hearts with their innocent fairy concept, and has been dubbed as “the second SNSD”. Even though girl groups tend to have a sexy concept in the music industry at the moment, A Pink has been promoting with their innocent and pure image. They have polls every day about idols related subjects and you know how lame the voting process/system is so it's really meaningless. Popular sites and fans will vote like crazy in what ever group they like overall. Like Rain winning TIME Magazine’s 2011 Top 100 Most Influential People, fans of his voted like mad to get him to win. I was on a few sites and they were getting people to vote and all.
Can't say much since I only know of "Miss A and Girl's day" Interesting, I'm guessing A Pink has 9 people in their group also?
No they don't, it's a 7 member group. Reason they are called that is cause they have a similar concept as SNSD when they first started and a few groups before them too. It's that innocent, sweet, fairy like, cute concept which many girl groups in recent days hadn't shown.
You beat my post by a few seconds lol...Just listened to A Pink - I don't know ft.Lee kikwang (beast) but I believe they have a better music. I could somehow see how they came up with the conclusion of the "2nd SNSD", but I need to listen to them more. The whole group dancing (doing same stuff) 7 people doing same moves hmm reminds me of.. ah nvm lol. Recommend any good tracks from them?
A pink's Molla-oh or w.e reminds me of INTW or Baby baby by SNSD. Simple and clean concepts when SNSD first debuted. Well these polls are entertaining to read XD
They just debut so they only have a 5 track album. They really have little makeup, non flashy costumes and they have a nice cute song. I like this group cause of their concept too and they have a few cute girls... It just reminds me so much of SNSD when they debuted...And I like their concept.
