Going to Guanzhou, Yunan, Szechuan, Tibet: suggestions?!

Going for entire month of July. Anyone been to these places? What to wear, what to bring? Where to eat? What to get?

I'll be stopping in Lai Sat (Lhasa), Sing Doa (Chengdu), Dai Le (Da Li), Sang Gak Le Lai (Shangrila), Guangzhou, and a few other places that I don't remember at the moment.

I'm looking for good massage places. If you know of any reputable ones, please do tell.

I'm currently bringing:
-toiletries
-antibiotics, antiparasitics, high altitude medications
-thin, light long sleeved shirts & pants to avoid mosquito bites
-sunglasses, sunblock, hats

i've been to guangzhou during the summer and its pretty hot, iono about now cuz that was like a 6 years ago

 

and there were alot of mosquitoes, i mean alot.

 

i'm going to china too, but in june. lol, but yeah, it'll be pretty hot and humid in guangzhou. went there about 2yrs ago. and do get your shots.
