Gong Li at the "Miami Vice" Premiere

    Chinese actress Gong Li appeared yesterday at the world premiere for director Michael Mann's "Miami Vice" in which she plays one of the lead roles. The film also stars Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell and is an update of the popular 1980s television program. In the film Li plays the beautiful wife of a powerful arms and drugs trafficker who falls in love with Farrell's undercover cop. It opens in the U.S. on July 28th.

    Yeah, I didn't know she was in this movie either. Wow, she's getting pretty famous now. Maybe I'll just buy the pirated version. =P

    -huh Huh? Hasn't she always been famous? She's one of the most well-known International actresses in Hollywood. She's been featured in People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People", too. Very beautiful and talented...

    Like aussiekid, I prefer her over Zhang Ziyi.

    I'm glad to see more Asians in Hollywood movies. Too bad it's a Colin Farrell movie. He's yuck. But Jamie is good.
