Besides drinking lots of water, I use a natural remedy.
You just crush some uncoated aspirin tablets, mix it in honey, and put it on your face as a mask. :)

Unless you want an herbal remedy...it works really well except it's not the tastiest thing in the world.
I don't know how to translate the ingredients though :\

Lots of water, good hygiene, proper diet (more veggies and fruits), have good proper rest schedule...

Well if you've got sensitive acne skin, be very careful with your skincare and makeup selection.
I'd advise you to go very light on the makeup as makeup tends to aggravate the skin.
As for skincare, maybe you can go for a professional advice becoz if you use the wrong skincare, that would make the situation worse.

My housemate went for chemical peeling instead. It was very helpful for her acneprone skin and now her skin looks much clearer.

Just Q. Why does the honey burn? Are you slightly allergic to it or something?...

    it depends what you eat..

avoid oily and fatty foods, and especially fried stuff, and also spicy and hot stuff..

other than that you'll be fine

and obviously clean your face regularly

Really? You can always just wet the aspirin with water and use it as a gentle exfoliator and rinse it off right away. It'll decrease the redness over time.
I'll get back to you with the herbel remedy a.s.a.p. :)

how bisarr it acutally sounds, what you eat is NOT the cause of acne...so all those myths about chocolate etc giving acne will always remain myths...

what kind of treatment depends on how bad the acne is. if it is alot, then a visit to a skin doctor might be a good idea...if it is only alittle, then try keeping it clean and avoid stress ^^
