TVB’s 48th Anniversary Gala was held on November 19 at TVB City in Tseung Kwan O. Over two hundred artistes were present at the annual event to celebrate the station’s birthday. Rookie actress Grace Chan (陳凱琳) wore a sparkly back gown that revealed most of her back. Cast in two dramas that were released this year, Grace has been nominated for the Most Improved Female Artiste award. Speaking of the nomination, Grace admitted she hopes to win the award. She expressed, “Thanks! I’m very happy! Winning the award will give me motivation. I may not be able to exceed expectations, but becoming motivated will allow me to continue and improve!” When asked if she hopes to win the Best Actress award and have her boyfriend Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) win the Best Actor award at the same time, Grace replied, “It’s impossible for me to receive Best Actress this year, because it’s not time yet! Yup, Kevin can't act for shit, and Grace hadn't even acted for long; she still needs to improve before winning any award...
I have yet to see her in a show, but I as well don't think she should get it...then again the TVB awards really don't mean much.
I think TVB will give it to her....but I don't think she deserve it....I think Tracy Chu's acting is better than hers......................
