45-year-old Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) and 24-year-old Grace Chan (陳凱琳) are a new couple on alert. Despite their pleas for privacy, the public is watching their every move. In the past few weeks, Kevin has been busy with the filming of Chinese period action drama Tai Chi Master: The Door of Tai Chi <太極宗師之太極門> at the Hengdian World Studios. Grace, who is currently filming the upcoming TVB drama Brother’s Keeper 2 <巨輪>, managed to find some time off prior to shooting and secretly flew to Hengdian, paying Kevin a visit on set. Grace’s trip to visit Kevin at Hengdian would have remained a secret if it wasn’t forTai Chi Master director Hou Shu Pui (何澍培), who leaked Grace’s visit to the fans. In a recent Weibo update, Hou Shu Pui intended to share his hard experience of shooting Tai Chi Master in the excruciating heat, but what grabbed everyone’s interest was the photo attached to the message, which was a picture he took with Kevin and Grace on set. Grace looked extremely low-profile, dressing entirely in black and hid half of her face under a black snapback. In Hou Shu Pui’s message, the director praised Kevin’s professionalism as an actor, expressing his support for him. “Kevin Cheng is definitely a good actor who is professional and respectful. He respects the director and the staff. He demands for art, understanding of others; finding an actor like him is getting harder… actors with artistic morals deserve everyone’s respect and love.” After Hou Shu Pui updated his Weibo, the reporters reached out to Grace, who admitted that she paid Kevin a visit recently. She explained that the filming of Brother’s Keeper 2 was pushed back a few days, leaving her some more time to visit Kevin. Her visit was not a surprise, and Kevin already knew about it beforehand.
