What do you think of those hackers in a multigaming community? Example of hacks - maphacks/mineral hacks/speed hack Are you one of them? If so, why do you think you are doing it? To avoid getting owned in every game by the pros, or because you just can't accept defeat? Do you feel good if you win by using hacks? Do you think hacking improve your skills or makes you deteriorate further? Do you have the mentality that "since everyone is doing it, it's alright for me to hack as well!" Do you think hacking means the end for the word 'sporting' in the gaming world? Because by hacking, you are saying you are not sporting enough to accept defeat. Do you feel really awful if you lose even when you hack? -innocent2 Personally, I think I stopped playing online games ever since there are many hackers around. I rather play in a cyber cafe on LAN, so that we can see who, if anyone, is hacking... lol I think it beats the point of gaming in the first place, if you have to resolve to hacks to give you unfair advantages. I personally won't feel satisfied if I won a game by hacking. I just love it whenever Battle.net comes out with a new patch, then it would ensure hack-free gaming for at least 24 hours or so... I believe.
LOL, I don't play network games, but I can tell you that I hate it when people are play low like that. It's one thing to cheat on a single player game (because you are cheating yourself, or at best, the game), but multiplayer networked games are like... well, taking advantage of someone else unrightfully. Strangely enough, those who cheat or hack always go around BRAGGING "oh I hack it all the way up to lvl whatever or got whatever precious items", it's pathetic.
That I think happens more in RPG games, but I am talking about STRATEGY games here. Basically, MAPHACKING would ruin the entire STRATEGY-BASED games don't you think so? Since you know what your opponent is doing, where he is, what he is building, etc etc. Lol, I really don't get it why the person is hacking then? It beats the purpose of gaming a strategy game then?

ive only cheated 1 time with CS online just to see how the cheats works for prevention on out own server... so it was on a lan with friends to test diff cheats out.. it was rather funny having 20 players cheating but yea cheater just sux like hell... so annoying they ruin the whole game
Hacking is fine as long as it's done in a hacking server where you can test your hack against other hackers.
Agreed. Dont have any problems with this. But if you play any games against regular players, ppl shouldnt hack to make themselves better. -devil
If it's some relative innocent hacking (better armor, more time etc.) it's fine by me, I won't do it as I'm too proud to resort to these tricks but I truly hate it when they use hacks to cheat the whole game, leaving no chance at all for others without hacks. Most recent example for me are those crackers in the multiplayer mode of Tetris DS who only use the long beam/bar and win all the games. What's the fun of that if you can't beat other people by playing it fair? They probably only want to get higher in the world ranking without doing much effort for it.. -angry
hacking on multiplayer games is just lame.. there's no point and it's boring... but, if the person is just itching to see how big hs e-penis is against others, well, so be it... plus it's hilarious when the hackers start getting owned and smacked talked to
