Rice is so expensive now in the uk....doubled in price! Apparently it's cos places like thailand aren't exporting rice here at the moment... Is that the case where you are.....or is tough luck for us guys in the uk?!
it's been expensive for a while now.. it was restricted to 2 bags/person in places like wing yip but i think it's better now? haven't been there recently lol.. its bloody crazy tho! i came home from uni and saw a million bags in the kitchen and was like wtf! hahahaa
Fuck, it has doubled here too! It used to be somewhere around 8$CAN for 10lbs, it's now fucken 14$!!!! It's so unfair for asian ppl!!!

The price of rice in Sydney Australia has also doubled from about $25 per bag (25kg) about 18months ago to $50 (at one stage it was as high as $70). The price increase apparently also affects products produced from rice. Petrol prices here are also on the climb. About two or three years ago it jump from about 80c per litre to more than a dollar in a space of about three months people were up in arms. But these days people seem to accept prices as per as $1.70 per litre.
i have heard of the rising rice prices.... but i haven't been buying them for awhile since i have a heavy supply.... lol
lol good thing it kinda stettled down and didnt Inflate as much nowsdays , but Petrol Wah, lol at least 1.60 a litre :(
lol apparently i heard that people were angry at the Petrol so they made the Organic Petrol or something, which also involves Rice so thats also a reason of rice rise lol
yesss it is expensive here in australia too. it is now double the price ... we have droughts here so that must be the reason for the price rise..
LOL yeah rice has gone up in UK my mum tells me about it all the time! ofc i never get it myself i eat rice and don't know how expensive it is haha has rice has gone up in Tesco as well?
