Guys...what do u think of having 'tattoo' on 1 side of ur pc for using pirated windows XP OS?? does u care about it or would u get a license to remove that 'tattoo'???
what do you mean tattoo? are you saying that the license is required? I'm assuming that the sticker on the side of your computer when you buying it w/ the os preload. I think its like your matress, you can remove the label once you bring it in your house.
yes..because currently microsoft is trying to eliminated pirated OS n using windows update to track pirated windows..so if u r using pirated version, da 'tattoo' will remain in ur pc until u get a license for it...but as i know currently da updates are only spreading within 5 countries which is US, New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia n i forgot another 1..

thanks to google currently there's a way to remove the 'tattoo' End the process wgatray.exe in Windows TaskManager and restart Windows XP in safe mode. Now delete the following files: Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\windowss\ystem32 Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\windows\system32\dllcache Start Windows Registry editor(start>run>regedit) and delete the folder "WGALOGON" located in the following location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify. Delete all references in your registry to WgaTray.exe After that just reboot ur pc as normal and wala.. the tattoo had dissapear
they're talking about the windows genuine notifcation crap that pops up on ur screen during startup and asks u to buy a legit copy when u use a pirated copy of xp
Just don't d/load the Windows Geniune Advantage update. Your PC will be fine without updates for 6 months, just wait for Windows Vista! XD
whatever u do, dun do a windows update or you will get the tattoo, my friend's PC got the tattoo then now the network card have prob!!!
that's what happened to my friend's windows xp computer too, that kind of sucks, nothing in the world is ever free in this country anymore lol
